Step by Step Guide To Apply to Richfield Graduate Institute of Technology

Richfield Graduate Institute of Technology has made the application process easy. Step 1: Download The Prospectus and Price List

Begin your application process by downloading the college’s prospectus and pricelist. This will give you a better idea of what you should apply to study when you’re registering.

Step 2: Decide on Your Programme

You can then peruse the prospectus and price list to determine what programme is best suited to your interests and what you can afford.

Since the school is a private institution, you will not be eligible for NSFAS. However, you can apply for a Richfield Graduate Institute of Technology bursary by clicking here.

Step 3: Visit The Online Application Portal

Once you’ve completed the previous steps, make your way to the online registration platform. You will be asked whether you have a student number and if you are returning to complete an application. If you haven’t registered with Richfield Graduate Institute of Technology, select “no” to both of these questions.

You will then need to read and accept the school’s POPI policy, which deals with the use of your personal information. 

Step 4: Complete The Registration Form

After accepting the POPI policy, you will be redirected to the registration form, where you’ll be required to fill in your personal information, contact details, previous study information in addition to the programme you’re applying to study.

Step 5: Upload Your Documents

Depending on the programme you are applying to, you will need to upload the following documentation:

  • Copy of your ID or passport
  • Matric Certificate/ Latest school report/ Latest qualification
  • Copy of your sponsor’s ID

Step 6: Submit Your Application

After you’ve completed all these steps, you will be able to submit your application. You can then track your application’s progress via email or by revisiting the online application portal.

Richfield Graduate Institute of Technology Admission Requirements

There are different admission requirements based on which Course you wish to take. The following are the standard minimum requirements to be considered for admission:

  • You will need an NSC (National Senior Certificate), NC (National Certificate) or an equivalent Certificate. 
  • A Diploma or Degree, with the right combination of required subjects based on what you are applying for.
  • You will also need proof of prior learning or RPL (Recognition of Prior Learning) 
  • You will also have to be 18 years or older. Some Courses minimum age requirements are 23, so it’s best to visit their website to enquire about your chosen path.

To check your Richfield Application status, you will need to visit the website and go to the ‘Register Online’ tab, fill in your student number or ID, and the system will take you where you can view your application status. 

The first Semester is from early February to early June. The second Semester is from Mid-July to late November. Be sure to register between those times to secure your spot! This year, first-year students started classes on March 15 and currently, you can register for the Second Semester.

Whether you register for either distance learning or contact learning at the Richfield Graduate Institute of Technology, you will receive a free Proline Voyager laptop with Windows 10 already installed; has a 14-inch screen with a 2.4 GHz processor. This unfortunately only applies to students who will register for a Degree or Diploma, though.
